Yes, that’s a Beatles reference… Mr. Robot used to hang out with them back in the day as their sound tech. Anyway… Mr. Robot needs some help handling humans, since he can only crank through so many forum posts a day due to the complexities of natural language processing. It’s very important that our human interaction is always top-notch and our stat weights are accurate and up-to-date. So, he’s starting a Human Resource Program to enlist the help of some friendly meatbags. These Human Resources be people who love World of Warcraft, are currently raiding Firelands, and are at least semi-technical and math oriented.

The Human Resource will handle the following types of tasks:

• Answer questions on the AskMrRobot.com forums (and alert us if you don’t know the answer so we can get on it)
• Send community-reported bugs to our developer (just don’t let Mr. Robot know he released a bug, he’ll get cranky!)
• Keep a list of feature requests and the popularity of those requests
• Manage the FAQ post, keeping it up to date.
• Keep an eye on outside blogs and forums (mmo-champion, wowinsider, etc) that mention Mr. Robot, drop in to say hello or possibly correct any misunderstandings about the tool.

Time estimate: We anticipate this will take up about 1 hour of your time each day. Ideally, you’d have time to check the forums once every couple of hours. Outside sources can be checked 1-2 times a day. The idea is that we have a quick response time to customers on our own site.

Other human skills that would make Mr. Robot think you’re cool:

• A technical background will help you learn how our tool works, and enable you to better explain it to our users
• Likes math
• Dabbles in theorycrafting

Rewards fit for a King (or at least his human friends): This position will be get a surprise thank-you gift for the first month, during the beta portion of this program. Later this year, we will publish the reward system, which you will help shape! We want to fairly reward people for their time and we’re dedicated to developing a program that you are excited to be a part of!

Any of the following activities are helpful as well, getting extra rewards:

• Create how-to videos for Mr. Robot’s help channel on YouTube (:30-:90 seconds long)
• Help generate and validate new stat weights using SimC and other 3rd party tools
• Updating our spec pages and resource links / keeping us up to date as theorycraft evolves
• Help with data gathering during major patch releases and expansions
• Out-reach to EU communities in the EU battle.net forums and other EU blogs and sites
