Optimize those Pandas!

Hey Wow fans! Some of you have been wondering what we’ve been up to, since you haven’t heard much from us. I know, I know… you think that Mr. Robot’s only mission in life is to help us silly humans play games better. But who is going to help the PANDAS get ready for their big debut on Sept 25th?

Mr. Robot, that’s who!  He flew around the world to observe Pandas in their natural habitat (Pandaria). He heard they had a racial bonus that grants them double stats from food. So he experimented day and night until he came up with the winning panda-treat… The Bamboolean Cupcake.

As you can see, the Pandas are looking really good during this MoP training session, practicing their “Bouncy” racial (after consuming their cupcakes, of course).


*Disclaimer, Mr. Robot did not actually feed cupcakes to these Pandas. Shhh.

He’s also been getting the new talents and glyphs incorporated into the site for patch 5.0. And he already has plans on challenge mode gear, but we’ll get more in depth with that later.

What are you most excited for with the expansion?

    Most excited for Pandaria! Art and environment look absolutely gorgeous.

    On the Mr. Robot side, though, excited for the possible gear upgrade planner thingy!

      Yeah, we’ve been working on the Upgrade Planner. It might be out shortly AFTER MoP releases, but in time for most people to hit max level and start running dungeons. The reason is we might need to wait a bit while game data and stat weights develop in order to do it right :)

        Woo sounds good! Very excited for that. But, is it like an upgrade path that you follow and it suggests what pieces to get based on what you already have?

    When can we expect some Mists of Pandaria gear in the Gear Optimizer tool? Not until release?

    Any plans on incorporating the new hit/expertise caps into current gear reforging?
